Grow-Eat-Make-Peace Summer Camp | Ages 7-12
A Hands-On Farm Adventure at The Ecology Center Join us this summer for a one-of-a-kind farm experience at The Ecology Center’s Grow-Eat-Make Summer Camp. Designed for children ages 7-12, our immersive camp offers hands-on learning in regenerative farming, farm-to-table cooking, and nature-based creativity. Campers will explore environmental stewardship, teamwork, and the rhythms of farm life—all while having fun in our vibrant children’s garden and food forest. Camp Details Ages: 7-12 years old Days: Monday – Friday Time: 9 AM – 3 PM Lunch: A nutritious, farm-fresh lunch is included each day of the program. Location: The Ecology Center Summer 2026 Sessions: Week 1: June 22 – June 26 Week 2: June 29 – July 3 Week 3: July 6 – July 10 Week 4: July 13 – July 17 Week 5: July 20 – July 24 Week 6: July 27 – July 31 Week 7: August 3 – August 7 Week 8: August 10 – August 14 A Summer of Discovery and Growth Grow-Eat-Make Summer Camp is built around joyful, hands-on experiences, allowing children to explore our working farm, culinary kitchen, and children’s garden in a way that fosters curiosity, confidence, and connection to nature. Each day brings new lessons, adventures, and discoveries. Campers can register for a single week or multiple weeks to deepen their learning and build upon previous experiences. Camp Activities Chicken Care: Feed the chickens, collect fresh eggs, and learn about the daily rhythms of farm life. Organic Farming: Get hands-on in our Regenerative Organic Certified® Farm, use real farm tools in the Market Garden, and discover the role of seasonal crops. Gardening Fun: Explore composting, harvest seasonal produce, and gather flowers from the garden. Culinary Creations: Pick fresh ingredients and cook delicious farm-to-table meals in our kitchen, sharing meals with fellow camp
