Privacy Policy

Appystrano, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the FamPass website at app.fampass.io (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service. It covers app.fampass.io specifically; the FamPass iOS app is covered by a separate Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

• Account info.Your email address and name, provided at sign-up or received from Google or Sign in with Apple. If you create an account with an email and password, we store a salted, one-way hash of your password — never the password itself.
• Favorites & preferences. Saved events, guides, and deals; your selected metro area; and an optional home address or city you provide for distance-based sorting.
• Subscription status. Whether you have an active Premium subscription, used to unlock Premium features across web and iOS.
• Device & usage data. Basic, aggregated analytics about how the Service is used (pages visited, general device/browser type), collected via Vercel Web Analytics. This data is not used to build an advertising profile of you, and the Service does not show ads.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate the Service: authenticating you, syncing your favorites and preferences, granting Premium access, and understanding aggregate usage so we can improve the Service. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on the following third parties, each of which processes data only to provide its function:

• Stripe.Processes Premium subscription payments. We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles that directly.
• Apple & Google. Power optional Sign in with Apple / Google authentication, and (for iOS subscribers) App Store subscription billing.
• Vercel. Hosts the Service and provides privacy-focused, aggregated Web Analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking).
• OpenStreetMap (Nominatim). Powers address/city autocomplete when you set a home location. Only the text you type is sent to look up a match.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with any other third parties.

4. Children’s Privacy

FamPass is designed for parents and caregivers to discover family-friendly events. The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at dev@fampass.io and we will promptly delete such information.

5. Your Choices & Rights

You can edit your profile, clear your home location, and delete your account (and its associated web data) at any time from your account page. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, or to receive a copy of it. 6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account removes your personal data (email, name, password hash, favorites, and preferences) from our systems within 30 days.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
